Tonight! Rightwing Bradley Awards Streaming Live

Emceed by recent... um... "newsmaker" George Will

Our friends at The Progressive Magazine have a great post about tonight’s “Bradley Foundation” awards, emceed by recent…um…”newsmaker” George Will. Bradley’s CEO is Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign co-chair. Bradley spends tens of millions of dollars every year supporting Walker’s ideological allies, including those running the “It’s Working” ad campaign. It’s America’s first tax deductible Super PAC.

Tonight the Milwaukee-based Bradley Foundation—“the most powerful rightwing organization in America no one seems to know about,” as one progressive activist describes it—will present awards worth $250,000 in prize money each to conservative journalists at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

This year’s recipients include such Koch brothers’ associates as Wall Street Journal columnist Darcy Olsen, president of the Goldwater Institute, an affiliate of the Koch-funded State Policy Network.
