Introduction
Last year was a challenging time for the state of Wisconsin and the entire country. While Scott Walker, Paul Ryan, and Ron Johnson continued their assault on the working and lower class, Donald Trump tested the limits of extreme public policy.
But One Wisconsin Now & the Institute didn’t go away, didn’t back down, and brought the fight as hard as we ever have. In our roles as the leading progressive issue advocacy & education organizations, we found tremendous success.
And we have the numbers to prove it.

Communication
One Wisconsin Now & the Institute staff begin every morning with an intense discussion about how we’re going to make and break news that day. With our aggressive, around-the-clock communications we’ve established ourselves as the leading voice on state and national issues.

Website
One Wisconsin Now & the Institute’s suite of online accountability projects provide the press and the public with indispensable research and communications.
Our supporters grow in number completely organically, meaning we never buy email lists. This strategy ensures our list is a reliable source of activists ready to take action online and offline.
One Wisconsin Now’s Facebook page provides our tens of thousands of followers with a consistent source of original content and resources to spread the progressive message.
@OneWisconsinNow actively engages with reporters and public figures on Twitter. We used our profile to launch a lawsuit against elected officials blocking access to online public forums.
