What Does Donald Trump Have to Do to Lose Scott Walker’s Endorsement?
‘Trump’s Repeated Attacks on Grieving Family of American Hero’
MADISON, Wis. — One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross released the following statements regarding Gov. Scott Walker’s continued endorsement for Donald Trump, even in the wake of Trump’s repeated attacks against the parents of fallen soldier Army Captain Humayun Khan.
“Gov. Scott Walker’s endorsement of Donald Trump is no longer a reflection on Trump’s character, but on Scott Walker’s, or lack thereof.
“Gov. Scott Walker is the face of the Donald Trump campaign in Wisconsin. Walker’s refusal to withdraw his endorsement after Trump’s repeated attacks on the grieving family of an American hero is incomprehensible.
“The question becomes: Would Scott Walker have responded with silence if the fallen hero and his parents looked like Scott Walker and his family?”
