Increasingly Desperate Gov. Scott Walker to Start Re-Election TV Ads May 1
Hits Panic Button to Save Quarter Century Political Career
MADISON, Wis. — The increasingly desperate campaign of Scott Walker has upped the ante from issuing wake up calls to hitting the panic button. According to media reports, Walker has reserved television ad time beginning May 1 and running into July in the La Crosse and Green Bay media markets.
Most recently Walker’s hand picked candidate for the Wisconsin Supreme Court was trounced by progressive Judge Rebecca Dallet in a statewide election. She largely swept the communities in the Green Bay and La Crosse areas on her way to victory.
The following are the comments of One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross:
“Scott Walker is facing a blue wave and he’s being dragged under by his record of failure.
“He’s failed to help people with student debt, with finding affordable childcare and with finding job and retirement security and he knows he’s on borrowed time.
“After 25 years in office Scott Walker knows when it’s time to hit the panic button, and that time is now.”
