Who Will Walker Blame for Latest Job Loss?

Wisconsin's Unemployment Rate Rises, 13,200 Jobs Lost While Illinois, Minnesota Grow

MADISON, Wis. — One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross released the following statements related to the sad news that once again Wisconsin has lost jobs under the failed policies of Gov. Scott Walker. Wisconsin’s unemployment rate rose and the state lost 13,200 jobs in June.

“Who will Scott Walker blame for the latest job loss for Wisconsin? Walker spent the last year blaming the people of Wisconsin for rejecting his divisive agenda, so we’ll have to see if he finally admits that billions of dollars in unaccountable tax breaks for the rich and corporations, removing consumer protections and privatizing public services do not create jobs — they only enrich Walker’s corporate benefactors who bankrolled his hold onto power.”
