Hey, Walker: $0 times $0 = $0 for laid-off workers
Scott Walker says the solution to 1,100 lost jobs at Harley Davidson is a payroll tax cut.
How in the hell is a payroll tax cut going to help someone without a job?
And how do we pay for the lost revenue? Will you cancel your annual taxpayer-financed motorcycle trip to campaign for governor promote Milwaukee County? Stop offering 26% raises to your top staff? If doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity, then Scott Walker has literally lost his mind.
After the GOP got its way for nearly eight years and its reckless fiscal policies bankrupted America and eviserated what remained of a manufacturing base, Walker refuses to stray from the failed and caustic GOP economic concoction of tax cuts, deregulation and diminished infrastructure.
Economic collapse?
Tax cuts!
Skyrocketing health care costs?
Tax cuts!
Lost jobs?
Tax Cuts!
Paper or plastic?
Tax cuts!
It’s pretty clear, Walker has stopped attempting to govern and is simply trying to gain the endorsements for his certain gubernatorial campaign to Jack Abramoff buddy Grover Norquist at Americans for Tax Reform and creepy Steven Moore at Club for Growth.
To be fair, there is some spending Walker supported.
When he was the Assembly point man on the orgy of prison spending which helped grow the prison budget from $186 million to $1 billion in the 1990s.
So there was that.
Tax cuts!
