One Wisconsin Now Statements on the Passing of Labor Leader Marty Beil

MADISON, Wis. — One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross released the following statements upon news of the passing of longtime Wisconsin State Employees Union leader Marty Beil, who passed away at his home last evening.

“Marty Beil was a tireless champion for working women and men across Wisconsin and his passing leaves us both deeply saddened, but also doubly committed to continuing his fight for fairness for workers in every corner of Wisconsin. Marty was a leader, a mentor and friend to so many of us and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Marty told it like it is and he never backed down. Rest in peace, Brother Beil.”
