One Wisconsin Now Statements on Gov. Walker’s Silence on Campaign Contributor
Gov. Walker Campaign Contributor, Fundraiser Host and Wall Street Bankster, Maurice “Hank” Greenberg, Suing the Federal Government Over the Taxpayer-Funded Bailout of His Former Company, AIG
MADISON, Wis. — One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross released the following statements on Gov. Walker’s silence on his campaign contributor and fundraiser Hank Greenberg suing the federal government over the taxpayer funded bailout of AIG. Greenberg hosted the notorious fundraiser for Walker in his Park Avenue apartment in New York the day nearly one million signatures were filed to recall Gov. Walker.
“With Gov. Walker’s ramp up for his 2016 Presidential run already in full swing we see that, again, there are two sets of rules with him. One for the fat cats that fill his campaign coffers, and another for the rest of us.”
“Two years ago, the first bill Gov. Walker introduced in his tragi-comically misnamed ‘Jobs Special Session’ was to limit the rights of average Wisconsinites to seek redress and hold corporations accountable for the injury they caused in state courts.”
“But when his campaign donor and fundraiser Hank Greenberg, in one of the most outrageous and stupendously arrogant acts ever seen, sues the federal government for the taxpayer funded bailout of the company he helped to destroy by his greed and avarice, we get total silence from Gov. Walker.”
“In a word, disgusting.”
