Walker to County: Don’t Worry, Be Happy!

If you were left scratching your head after the rosy picture presented by Scott Walker in his State of the County speech, consider his track record when it comes to economic prognostication. Bloggers will remember his gem from the Walker blog two years ago:

“As President Bush said on Friday, ‘the American economy heads into 2006 with a full head of steam.’  Thanks, in part, to the tax cuts pushed by President Bush in 2001 and again in 2003, the economy is headed in the right direction. Most importantly, Americans’ businesses are headed in the right direction.”
