WALKER RHETORIC: “We more than made up for the jobs lost in the recession”
WISCONSIN REALITY: Scott Walker promised he would create 250,000 private sector jobs in Wisconsin and not only have barely over half of those jobs materialized, Wisconsin is dead last in the midwest for job creation while he has been governor and Wisconsin is an appalling 38th in the nation for job creation. WISCONSIN REALITY: Scott Walker’s privatized job creation agency, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, has been rife with cronyism, corruption and incompetence. Numerous audits have confirmed complete mismanagement under Walker and new research showed $700 million of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s $1.14 billion in taxpayer-funded grants went to Scott Walker campaign donors.
