Walker’s iPhone App doesn’t have the goods
Scott Walker is touting his new iPhone App as the “the first mobile app in history of Wisconsin politics.” I downloaded it to my phone. And unfortunately, it’s just another charade in what is becoming a long line of campaign gimmicks.
Like his other campaign gimmicks (eg., the brown bag, “I drive a Saturn,” “I gave back part of my salary”), Walker’s App doesn’t detail what state programs he would cut in order to give tax cuts to the rich and re-open big business loopholes. Nor does it create jobs. Nor does it manage the Milwaukee County Health Complex. It does, however, have a link to donate to his political campaign.
And, if it’s any reflection of his record as Milwaukee County Executive, the App repeatedly crashed. (True story.)
