Gov. Scott Walker Kicks Off NFL Season Trying to Stoke Racial Division, Resentment

MADISON, Wis. — The following are the statements of One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross on Gov. Walker’s shameless pandering to racism:

“Scott Walker has built a 25-year political career trying to divide white people and black people.

“Many NFL players have spoken and continue to speak out on racial justice, an issue on which Scott Walker’s record is nothing less than deplorable.

“Instead of spending his time on Twitter or campaigning in a state plane, Scott Walker should spend some time reflecting on how his policies have led Wisconsin to be ranked the worst state for black Americans.”
