”Covering his tracks?” asks the Capital Times:

Juneau County District Attorney Scott Southworth has released e-mails to The Capital Times that show he was collaborating with conservative activists before and after he sent a March 24 letter to Juneau County school districts threatening prosecution if teachers taught comprehensive sex education as prescribed under a new state law.

The e-mails also show that he assisted an activist who was organizing a petition drive to try to convince school districts to drop sex education altogether rather than abide by the law, dubbed the Healthy Youth Act.

The Juneau County DA is being sued by One Wisconsin Now, a liberal advocacy group, for failing to provide records it had requested in a separate but similar open records filing related to the Healthy Youth Act.
